Our work is built on the partnership of two complementary disciplines. Dorothy is a professionally trained sculptor and special effects artist with a deep understanding of form, texture and the human body, while I bring decades of experience in fine-art photography, lighting and visual storytelling.
Together, we create luxury sculptural artwork cast directly from the body - helping people transform deeply personal moments into something physical, meaningful and lasting.

We built Painted By Light out of a longing to hold onto what inevitably fades. In our studio, we merged years of photography experience with the intimate art of body casting. We left behind working for others to create, with our own hands, things that will endure for generations.
